Temptation Cruise Review (February 2025) Spicy Cruise on NCL Norwegian Pearl

Temptation Cruise Review: February 2025 (Honest Breakdown & What to Expect)

If you’ve ever been curious about what it’s really like on a spicy adults-only charter cruise like Temptation Cruise, you’re in the right place! In this post, we’re breaking down everything from embarkation day to parties, playroom etiquette, theme nights, food, entertainment, and more. Here’s our honest review of Temptation Cruise, February 2025.

Overall Vibe & Demographic

Temptation Cruise is more of a lifestyle-friendly, adult spring break than a full-on swingers cruise. While not couples-only, the vibe is flirty, energetic, and welcoming. The 2025 crowd skewed younger than past cruises, with many guests between 35-45, and this was probably the most attractive group we’ve seen on board. Singles were present but respectful, and couples dominated the vibe.

The Ship & Layout

This sailing was on the Norwegian Pearl with about 2400 passengers. It was a great size: big enough to feel exciting, small enough to run into new friends again. The pool deck was party central with a double-pool layout and a central DJ booth setup that gave serious music festival vibes. Two hot tubs on either side stayed busy all day and night.

Playroom Experience

The playroom was sleek, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Forty mattress-style beds were arranged with draped fabric, ambient lighting, and one designated kink area. Towels, protection, water stations, and security were all readily available, and the space felt clean, safe, and comfortable.

However, we’d love to see the mattresses placed on risers in the future, along with the addition of some curtained or semi-private areas to offer a bit more discretion. While the double-stacked mattresses were practical, having everything on the floor detracted slightly from the overall mood.

It’s also important to note that sexual activity is only permitted in the playroom or your private cabin.

Party Scene

Pool parties kicked off officially around 1:00 PM and rolled into the afternoon, but the pool starts getting busy around 11:30 AM. Night parties started around 10:30 PM, with the energy peaking between 11:30 and 1:30. With just one main party at a time, it was easy to find friends.

The main party was always held on the pool deck (weather permitting), which made for great temperature and ample space. They went above and beyond with visuals and large screens this year as well, equipped with fog machines and lasers. Silent discos, afterparties in the atrium, and themed events made each night feel fresh.

One disappointing part of the trip was that the blacklight for Glow Night seemed like an afterthought, if it was thought of at all. There were purple lights, but no actual blacklights, so none of the fluorescent or neon clothing or body paint glowed. This was the first time we’ve experienced that on a Temptation Cruise. Since it was their first year partnering with Norwegian Cruise Line, that might have had something to do with it.

Theme Nights & Outfits

Five nightly themes and two themed pool parties encouraged dressing up. The highlight was Nauti Wars (Star Wars-inspired), which felt unique and creative. Other night themes included Rockstar, Uniforms, Glow, and Superpowers. Theme participation was high, and it made the cruise feel vibrant and immersive. Most people opted to dress in their own sexy version of the theme. You can see our theme night outfits here!

Pool party themes were Pirates and Bling Bling, which didn’t have as much participation, but still made for a fun vibe overall!

Drinks & Dining

With your cabin purchase, every guest received the Unlimited Drink Package, giving you access to 16 bars and 7 complimentary dining venues. Standard cocktails, most alcohol brands, seltzers, and house wines were included, while bottled water, Red Bull, and top-shelf liquors came at an extra cost. (Click here for the full beverage list.)

Dining was a bit of a hit or miss. The main dining room was average, and the buffet varied in quality. O’Sheehan’s Irish Pub served up solid burgers and wings, but their breakfast was no good. Complimentary coffee was very acidic, but there was a Starbucks on board where you could purchase an unlimited upgrade or purchase drinks a la carte. Specialty dining options were available for an additional charge, though not all were worth the upgrade.

That said, food availability was a major win: buffet service ran until 4 AM, and O’Sheehan’s stayed open 24/7, which made late-night food readily available – which is essential after some of those late night play sessions!

Entertainment & Activities

Activities ranged from belly flop and beer drinking contests to Jell-O wrestling and couples lap dance workshops. Lifestyle and vanilla options were well-balanced, with everything from trivia, origami and diamond painting to sensual stretch classes and guided intimacy seminars, including hypnotic guided sex, full body fellatio workshops, and pleasure for him and her classes.

The shows were a definite highlight, especially Airotic, an incredible blend of erotic acrobatics, burlesque, and cabaret. Other crowd favorites included Temptation’s Got Talent and a Family Feud-style comedy game show that had everyone laughing!

Ports & Excursions

The two ports were Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas) and Ocho Rìos, Jamaica. Unfortunately, Great Stirrup Cay (a private island takeover) was canceled due to weather, but Temptation did their best to make up for it with extra onboard activities.

Keep in mind: with cruises, port plans are always weather-dependent.
